after two long years of sabbatical with this movie. Taapsee Pannu and Vicky
Kaushal also play a major role in the movie. The story is a triangular love
story between an Amritsar girl Rumi (Taapsee), man-child lover Vicky (Kaushal)
and her fiancee Robbie (Abhishek Bachchan). All the three actors have done
complete justice to their individual roles and the movie is definitely worth a
watch over the weekend.
2. Batti Gul Meter Chalu by Shree Narayan Singh

The movie is all set
to be released this weekend (September 21st 2018). It is a social drama which deals
with escalating electricity bills that affects numerous people across India.
The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in prominent
roles. Shahid Kapoor plays a role of an advocate and so does Yami Gautam but as
an opposition lawyer. The story is about how Shahid Kapoor fights for justice
for his friend, who commits suicide due to the colossal electricity bill. The
movie is said to be quirky with all details of fun and humour, to keep the
audience glued.
3. 5 Weddings by Namrata Singh Gujral
Language – English
This is an American
film set in the United States of America and India. 5 Weddings feature Nargis
Fakhri and Rajkummar Rao in main roles. The story is purely based on the theme
of Indian Weddings. An American journalist (Fakhri) flows all the way to India
to explore the rituals in Indian wedding for a Magazine. The movie is not about
one wedding but multiple weddings. During this journey, flourishes love between
Indian cop (Rajkummar Rao) and American Journalist (Fakhri), what happens next
is what you go to catch on big screen.
4. III Smoking Barrels by Sanjib Dey
Language – Multi-Lingual
The movie is scheduled
for release this weekend on September 21st 2018. The movie features Subrat
Dutta, Indraneil Sengupta and Amrita Chattopadhyay in prominent roles. The film
is shot in breathtaking locations of international borders Myanmar, Bhutan and
Bangladesh. The movie incorporates 6 different languages including Hindi,
Assamese, Bengali and Manipuri. III Smoking Barrels is an anthology of three
stories. Each explaining a different stage in life - a child caught up in armed conflicts, a boy
involved in drug peddling and a man trapped in elephant poaching.
5. FALSAFA: THE OTHER SIDE by Himanshu Yadav
Language – Hindi
Falsafa is a story of
revenge, it is about the journey of two people Aman and Isha. The movie has
Manit Joura and Geetanjali Singh in key roles. Aman seeks revenge for his dead
parents. Isha is convinced that her father's death is a murder and not an accident.
